It’s Release Day!
No more waiting! My newest novel is officially released,
and everyone who pre-ordered it (thank you!!) will now find After the Thaw on their Kindles. I hope you enjoy it!
This time last year I was working feverishly on completing the first draft, and despite the long hours (and nights) it took to reach this point, it was truly a labor of love. This story means a great deal to me, and I’m thrilled to see it published. I’m very grateful to everyone who helped me on this writing journey, particularly my advance readers and reviewers and everyone who helped spread the word.
After the Thaw is a contemporary Christian romantic suspense novel, and while it’s the sequel to my previous book Frozen Footprints, you don’t have to read that novel to enjoy this one. (Although I hope you’ll want to! 🙂 )
You can grab your copy of After the Thaw on Amazon for $3.99 (Kindle) or $13.99 (paperback). Or read the first few chapters for free, right here.
Some wounds heal. Others leave scars.
Four years ago, Charlene Perigard survived a brutal kidnapping. Now at twenty-two, she’s put that trauma behind her for a promising future with handsome firefighter Ben Jorgensen. But when new trauma strikes, a new nightmare begins.
Sinister threats, a midnight attack, and a deathbed promise drive Charlene to the little town of Creekside, where she encounters a man from her past whom she has long struggled to forget: Clay Morrow—ex-convict and brother of her kidnapper. He’s also the man who once helped save her life.
Despite the odds, Charlene and Clay forge a tentative friendship, unaware of a brooding, mounting danger that seeks to destroy them both. Charlene’s wounded heart must choose between her fiancé and the man whose past is more scarred than her own. But in choosing, she may just lose everything.
